today is my organizations gala. we have a 650+ guest list of prominent people in the Latino community of Seattle and are trying to raise $650k.

I'll do some updates throughout the day just to journal how it goes organizing this type of event the day of.

Here are some of the live auction items. Some awesome art, that Kraken jersey is one-of-a-kind made for Hispanic heritage month, diamond necklace, among a lot of other things.

Too rich for my wallet but excited to see how much this brings in for us.

And here I am, just in my work clothes. I'll be dressed up in more formal attire later in the evening. Seeing everyones outfits is a big plus for these type of events.

we're a team of 5 putting this on (though our org is 200 ppl and everyone lends a hand somehow). Our team arrives at the convention center at 730 am to start getting the auction, ballroom, and volunteer room prepped for the day.
