The closing moments to this documentary are about as profoundly moving as I've ever seen. The truth of the matter is, that we are alone - living separate lives, unaware...often ignorant of one others existence, much like estranged families & friends. 🌸

I think with both The Exorcist & The Shining you are in the hands of master filmmakers & as revered as both films are now, they have retained a mystique about them even with the knowledge of how certain aspects were achieved.

...of one his earlier efforts & a welcome counterpart to the other Exorcist documentary 'The Fear of God'.
In the 6 years this documentary has been on release I've grown to admire it more than the Kermode (*I've met the man, sadly he was very pompous & full of himself) centered entry.
