I've been wanting to do something for a long time with my nursing log from when Khải was a baby. It's overwhelming and breathtaking! The yellow areas are when I was nursing... nearly ALL THE TIME! This is his first two months of his life.

My parents gardened their whole lives, before it was cool. They grew out of necessity and to preserve memory and culture. One day, hopefully, Americans will catch up to ancestral knowledge held so deep. The unfixed Van Dyke changes with time, the silver stays the same.

I joined my university lecturer union recently. It's not perfect, but organized labor is going to be an important bulwark against exploitative practices.

Don't have a union? Get inspired by many workers who have unionized recently, from Starbucks to Amazon to the Art Institute of Chicago.

Even Rubio admits that there are legal issues here. It is not possible with citizens because that would mean legal deportation, but re: undocumented people, we're already doing this by deporting them back to places where they might be harmed and sending them to Gitmo.
