i'm being a little silly but you get what i mean. a huge part of the appeal is the youth aspect of kpop. all these idols are young and beautiful and following their dream. many people naturally want to support young talent. and its no secret that entertainment has long sexualized young people

why wouldnt you become so close with people youve spent thousands of hours with? people that youve lived with, grown up with, cried and laughed and ate with, people who have grinded and slaved for the dream that they share with you. that makes for a pretty powerful bond
