I saw Billy Graham live when he came to London in 1989. He was past his ‘best’ by then
There do seem to be more ruddy shelducks around than there used to be. I’ve seen one on the Thames in Reading though not recently
I really like this sculpture and it looks particularly good in the sun
It’s just such a waste of money
I didn’t know there was a Paisley Junior. I vividly remember his father. He was so loud!
This is just the sort of thing I don’t miss now I’m retired!
Yes, I was wondering about that. Work experience should really be paid.
No coffee 😦 I couldn’t cope
A few grey heron pics from Hyde Park in London.
Heron with fish; heron with cormorant friend on the new swimmer’s ramp at the Lido; heron with swan family

It’s a beautiful cathedral. My father was studying law at Guildford when it was being built and he bought a brick!
That’s a good sighting Eric
I hope that it found something edible inside!
No I haven’t but I will watch it. Thanks for the link
I watched this male mute swan for a while. Someone had given him rice which he was picking off the bank. He took regular sips of water to help the food go down. Then he sat back and showed how strong he was, to discourage other swans from snatching his rice

It’s a very good album
They are! Great pop songs
Me too. I really like most of the No Man albums, and I also enjoy his Bass Communion work. Also his collaboration with Mikael Åkerfeldt, Storm Corrosion
Thank you for sharing these really interesting posts. I am a birdwatcher with dyspraxia so I recognise many of the points you’ve discussed
Moorhen babies are so cute
I do very much like Porcupine Tree
I agree, the Oxford section is surprisingly quiet. Port Meadow is one of my favourite birdwatching places.
Well done, that’s a wonderful achievement. I have done the majority of it but not the very first section
