You don't have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step - MLK Jr.

A nude man climbing an outdoor staircase, the staircase is up a hill and has grass on either side. At the top of the staircase is a gate. The backdrop is a blue sky with a couple of clouds.

London to Brighton... at the very least I can finish with a skinny dip

100km nude would be normalising chafing too 😂

I've signed up for a solo slightly later start. If there's an opportunity to do at least part of it clothesfree, I'm going for it
icecoldnudist.bsky.social
Fresh air and coffee are still two of the best ways to start the day though. Have a wonderful weekend Claudia

Just signed up to do a 100km hike for charity over a couple of days in May '26. Wonder if they'll be ok with me doing it in my preferred hiking outfit 😂

That'll set you up for the day ahead Andy. This is about my favourite time of year to be out in nature

Fortunately, I've never been in a situation where it's resorted to violence. Imagine telling your mates that you got knocked out by a naked dude 🤣

Im in the UK, so I'm comfortable on the legality of being out for a naked hike. I've encountered plenty of people with mixed reactions in the past and always held my own. It was just the oddness of the whole situation that threw me off.

Indeed, full-blown Arsenal supporter. I've been going with my dad and brother for 40+ years
icecoldnudist.bsky.social
I generally do the same. The uncomfortable way it panned out led to me breaking with my usual habits, put it down to experience, and know how to react next time
icecoldnudist.bsky.social
🤣 that'd get me in a whole other world of trouble in the UK

This is very true, a positive of social media!

I'm with you on 3 of those 4 things... have a guess which one it is?

I've always felt like a bit of an outlier in terms of my interests, views and how I think. Marching to the beat of your own drum is something that needs to be embraced by more of us

Cool shot, love the mask!

I could've done with one of them today, the guy that followed me for 20 mins on my hike would've run a mile 🤣

So very true.

The "shame" people attach to their bodies unfortunately feeds a multitude of industries... and so the myth perpetuates.
icecoldnudist.bsky.social
Thanks for the advice Paul. I'll bear that in mind...

I don't expect any problems, it was just all very odd. I neglected to cover when I was being followed as a simple way of showing that I wasn't doing anything wrong. I probably should've carried on walking towards him when I first saw him

I dress before getting in my car, the guy walks past me, says nothing, gets in his car, and makes a show of scribbling down my number plate presumably before driving off... all very odd, and whilst not confrontational, the intent felt like intimidation. Any thoughts on how I should've handled it? 2

I had a slightly odd experience today... out for a hike in a local forest, I see someone about 100 metres away. I turn down a path I'd planned to take, avoiding the other walker. Midway into my walk, I see the same guy who follows me, keeping a bit of distance, all the way back to my car 1/2

Looking at the website, it's a Tudor gatehouse
icecoldnudist.bsky.social
Not too public, surrounded by farmland that I walk through sometimes. It was closed to visitors when I walked past yesterday, don't think I'd have been bold enough to carry on walking if it was open.
icecoldnudist.bsky.social
Always known that this building was nearby, but never thought I'd walk right past it on a #nakedhike

Good for you Andy, naked hiking in nature is the best way to experience joy!

💔 so sorry to hear this. The bond we have with our dogs is one that lives in you forever. It truly is an unconditional love.

Great picture. Captures the fragility and power of being nude in a public setting perfectly
