I haven't played the games people have been particularly praising lately (at least not for a very long time), but what I've seen recently of their story content seems pretty good. Though on the whole, I'm not sure the gameplay would be worth it for me, especially Black Knight. But that's just me

In my case gameplay and presentation are my #1 factors in regards to what my favorite Sonic games are and in that case the Genesis games will probably always be my favorite, especially Sonic 3's gameplay and CD's music (though I do still find things to appreciate in the games I've played since then)

I mentioned it in the alt text but the background is actually a street I used to frequent when I lived in Pittsburgh last year. There was a great arcade there & some good food not too far away. Now I'm back in Texas which is just. So awesome! Definitely :/
