I live at home and am not out to my family but they’ll probably be fine when I come out but it’s more so the nature of all our jobs and the people we work with and know that have me just desperately wanting to move away lol

Thanks it’s rough but also not the worst. I’ve found a way to still do things like go to gay/lesbian bars and pride but I so wish I could join one of the gay sports leagues and go to sapphic events without worrying 😩

I live by one of the gayest cities and it’s so bittersweet bc there’s an incredible queer scene here but I don’t like knowing that I’m so entrenched in this city bc my parents, brother, and I know so many people here and I don’t want all these people to know I’m gay 😭

Do you know how hard it is to live in a very very queer area that you grew up in but you have to be closeted due to various reasons and don’t think you could be comfortable being out bc you’re too connected to everything here lol 🙃

I grew up and live right outside of a major city so it’s just a different vibe than the rest of the state and there’s a half serious joke that we’ll secede from the rest of the state bc it’s so different 😭 (but it’s also where all the money comes from lol)
