I feel that! We all gotta do what works best for us.
I’ve done sourdough, but I keep coming back to this method. No planning ahead. No fuss. Long fermentation that keeps my tummy happy.

When the world is dark (and it is), I look for the sparks. A pot of tea. A loaf of homemade bread going into the oven. Starting dinner in the morning, so I don't have to worry about it later. An example of unsolicited kindness from a coworker. Sparks make light. Don't let them steal your light.

I’ve heard that first shearing for a lamb can be a bit of a rodeo. I’ll be finding out for myself next year, and I can hardly wait.

Hand spinners will buy either; some prefer it one way, some another. Spinning “in the grease” is still a thing! You can get more for washed, but it may not be enough to pay you for the time it will take to wash it.

Neither is a dealbreaker, though a significant break will definitely reduce the price.

When describing it, make sure to say if you’ve skirted. Skirted usually brings a higher price, so it’s often worth doing. The discards make great mulch!
