it was cute. loved the body positivity.

mostly listened because it was a duet narration with Teddy Hamilton. I’m a new fan of Erin Mallon now though, too!

I’ll probably finish the series, but with breaks between books.

look, the MMC has a jacob’s ladder and a corruption kink.
the FMC finds her voice and gets revenge on her abusive ex in a creative way.

this was right up my alley and definitely my favorite from the series.

I can’t tell if the romance isn’t believable to me, or if I just feel that way because the gender roles are reversed.

I also don’t have strong attachment towards either main character.

the structure of the book is very romantasy, but the puzzle pieces feel forced.
