Balancing the days.

A spray painted cut piece of paper that looks like a shark mounted on a piece of spray painted cardboard. The piece is balanced on one edge upon a canvas painted in grey and leaning on a canvas painted in green. The flash of the phone camera was used.

Sanctuary of gratitude.

Not exactly sure where the photo displayed on the screen was taken.

Have been thinking about gratitude lately. The word points to a sensation that one experiences that requires a story. Can you think of one where you felt this?

Majesty.

Photo shot in Monument Valley. It looked like it was on fire. It's hard to believe that this scene was before my eyes. The light from the flash acknowledges the illusion provided by the screen and the drawing validates this fact into finality.
Due to the illumination from the image on the screen the built-in flash from the phone used for this shot does not make the surface of the paper brighter as it usually does. And yet there is a hint of a shadow on the screen from the drawing.

Passed shadows.

In the background a photo taken in September of 2023 in a former factory turned art space somewhere in Berlin.

Energy court.

Attended a ceramics community sale and took a picture of a nice plum tart made by a dear friend of mine.

Take me to the other side.

Photo was taken from inside a car while waiting for the light to change. Oaxaca City, Mexico circa November 2022.

Forest glitch romp.

One frame from something very glitchy in the works.

The pin.

What do you see in today's drawing? Had not intended to create anything particular. My own interpretation may be coloured by my current mood. But I definitely see the pin and complimenting it with a physical one felt appropriate.

Matters.

Found a CD laying on a table in the courtyard of the building I live in. There's no title but if you are keen eyed you might see of whom the photo is.

All things created by beings, no matter the purpose, that continue to be present, are messages from the past.

Re-bring the light.

The grey has returned to Berlin in its fall season form. Si decided to use some yellow and place today's resulting pieces on it for a touch variance.

Basic building materials.

Had a band assignment today in an urban forest. Had planned to shoot this drawing there but the events were so consuming that forgot about it. Found this situation on the walk back to the apartment.

Rain date.

Just a day of rest while it rains all day.

Economical intention.

Behind is one of the pieces of paper resulting from yesterday's drawing on the wooden floor of the room I live in. The lighting is natural.

Void check.

A photo of an emergency exit sign in the sculpture garden the Neue Nationalgallerie in Berlin.
Daily #4128.
Home grown stressors.

Background is a photo taken some days ago of some political graffiti.
Daily #4127.
Cuts that don't touch.

Background is a photo taken in the backstage of a theater.
The flash from the phone was activated and realised that this is different result from when using the small lamps as there's no visible screen reflection.
Daily #4125.
Eye opener.

A frame from a digitally hand painted animation recently created for a forthcoming group exhibition this coming November.
Daily #4124.
Money holds us hostage.

Shot from a computer screen, a picture taken a few days ago of a person sitting in an inflatable kayak on the canal and looking at their phone.

Mutable answers by Brarez
This particular one is fairly straightforward with some chain bridges, several slides and a flat carousel.

Liking the way the shapes of the structures create textures within this drawing.

Playing ground.

Playgrounds in Berlin are very special. Each one is designed differently, some in particular themes such as a pirate ship, fantasy palace or something involving tree spirits.
It's also a kind of freedom. You can imagine whatever you want the image to be. It invites the imagination. Like to think of it as a playground for the mind. The artist provides clay. You own imagination moulds to it.
