With the shut down, I suspect many of the functions are stalled or being neglected as senior staff are furloughed, despite this clearly being life saving. Or they’re just ignoring them as sovereign nations.

LL: Press, press, and PRESS those seams. Once hung for 24 hours- STEAM!
When you have a low melting point gold foil, use a cotton cover between it and the iron.
Lots of pins for stretch velvet, while zigzag stitch is your best friend.

We have only to attach the bodice’s final piece, sleeves, and hem the skirt- and my dress for my bestie’s high fantasy wedding is done. I have been dreaming of this dress for a year now. Thanks to time off for surgery, my mom’s assistance, and local fabric stores, it’s is nearly done.
