When ideating symbols, I always sketched using the Mythic orange colors. Then when a direction was agreed upon, I see what it looks at the other rarities and adjust from there.

Inverting to common ALWAYS startled me. (like mirroring a drawing you've been working on for a while)

I like to think of the color options as “the gradient” and “the solid”.

The gradient is in every (I think) set symbol. But the solid color is a nice tool for creating visual contrast and hierarchy. I’ve used it several times now! 😬

They're Magic, they're kinda like cards, but not, but are. Definitely some fun ones in there.
