There are many governments in Europe (and in other places too) making lives of people with intellectual disabilities and their families harder.
Cutting money for support.
Allowing worse quality of services.
Bringing back institutions.

In June, we named our traineeships after the first President of the European Platform of Self-Advocates, Ulla Topi:
"I hope that people who choose this program and learn about self-advocacy will agree with that everyone should have their say on decisions that affect their lives."

🇪🇸 The Spanish government has approved a very important changes in 2 key laws for people with disabilities:
1. The General Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
2. The Law on Personal Autonomy and Care.
The laws now go to Congress to be approved.
