Oh right, it's October!

Happy Monster Fucker Pride Month to all who observe! :>

I really think a big part of the problem is decadence, like...people not really viscerally understanding the mechanics of psychology and the struggle for survival. People are too sheltered and don't know how to meaningfully combat a threat, and that has become very apparent in the past few decades.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
They spread because nobody stands up to them out of fear of them using that justification to kill you anyways.

They always were going to kill you, so why pretend its not like that? If someone wants to kill you, how do you respond? You stand up and punch them in their fucking face until they stop.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
The struggle is always always always always always infinitely better than just sitting down and letting them make life awful.

If they misstep, we can kill them just like they kill us when they perceive a misstep from us. At the end of the day, force is the only thing that matters.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
Trump and his group pose a legitimate threat, and if Americans are expected to be free and stand up for themselves and what's right, it's entirely 100,000% reasonable to respond to the threat his group poses to life in general.

Not stand up in the killing way, but showing force and organization.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
I do think something like a civil war is necessary, but I don't know that it has to be outright full war. But people do definitely need to stand up in an organized way if they want to keep or make things a certain way.

At the end of the day, we have free will. We can make anything any way we want.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
A massive part of the problem is people just constantly going "more than 50% of the country is objectively redeemably evil and fully stands behind literally everything Trump is doing and wants and says", which is an extremely decadent, destructive, and objectively untrue sentiment to spread.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
What stops a fascist is a bullet in the head. The rest of the details are just negotiating that negative life experience into something that will get people what they want.

The answer people seem to take is to just lie down and take it. There are a million options between total war and do nothing.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
So why not go apeshit on them, so to speak.

Its about having actual mechanisms and knowledge and alignment in place to make it clear to people how they can and should stand up and what kind of sacrifices are necessary.

Too many people rely on bullshit and speeches and hope and shaming.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
I think the real solutions come from being completely honest and real about the actual state of things and working together regardless.

Like it's clear they want their enemies dead, so why respect anything they have to say?

They're already breaking the only contract that keeps anything together.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
The problem has come from ignoring that fact and doing nothing about it and letting it fester and spread and lieing about it and fighting the people who talk about it for the sake of keeping things together.

Cause they just don't want to work together.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
I think most of the people that voted for him or didn't vote against him don't really want all this.

I'm more of the mind that yeah you need to recognize and accept and deal with the fact that like 25% of the country adores what's happening and has been working towards it for decades.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
Personally, I believe there is a solution, it's just intuitive and involves effort and learning and teaching and openness and clarity about things.

Its like...non-systemic, it's personal, getting humans to understand humans better, and accept that we can't just let anyone do whatever they want
ineathewitch.bsky.social
There's no easy solution I know of that we can just post about. It requires a change to how society operates.

There was plenty of opportunity to change society before this happened, but nobody wanted to, so now they have to.

You can't negotiate with narcissists because humans are flawed.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
My perspective is that the whole ordeal needs to be treated societally like we're supposed to deal with narcissists.

They'll never play by any rules, and they'll waste your spirit trying to make them, so you go no-contact.

We can collaborate, shut them out of society, make their lives suck.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
Specifically on the Epstein thing, last I've heard is that forcing a vote is impossible unless this one new person gets sworn in by one guy who absolutely will not do that under any circumstances but will lie about it to advance his own goals.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
Nobody has enough clarity about the structure of the factors involved in the government to effectively make decisions and propose solutions, a real effective response would involve making things more clear and getting aligned on various intents.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
I'm sure he was gonna do it anyways. The only way out is through.

Fighting stuff like that is just entropy, delaying the inevitable and wasting time doing it while thinking it can be avoided if we're just quiet enough instead of spending effort where it matters.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
And unfortunately, that means the rot dumpers would throw a tantrum, and that probably means you're gonna have to actually exert some influence and put people in timeout or take away their toys or, like, talk to them human-to-human.

Or we can just continue to live with the consequences of rot.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
It's far better for everyone but the rot dumpers to just burn the whole thing down.

If something is to be salvaged, people need shop-vacs and industrial cleaning chemicals and permission to rip up the flooring, not toothbrushes.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
Essentially, many people who either voted for Trump or didn't vote against him didn't do so because they love Trump and what he's all about.

They did it because they're tired of being told to clean rot with a toothbrush and smile while others dump truckloads more directly onto them.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
It's a fucking joke, and everyone who enshrines The Law as this objective source of truth and morality and ethics is also a fucking joke, and that's ultimately what this whole fucking Trump era is about.

Humans over systems.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
I'm supposed to live in pain and suffering for decades because society cant handle trans people and I have to dedicate all my time to being perfect and staying out of attention to not be perceived as bad while the law takes decades to catch up (which it doesn't anyways), but Guy can legalize murder.
ineathewitch.bsky.social
Like...if I dedicate myself to acting ethically and seeing reality clearly and then decide to make my own moral judgments and take action myself, I'm unhinged and dangerous, but some guy who manipulated his way to power can write whatever in the book and I'm supposed to respect that over myself???
