Comet Lemmon is moving westwards beneath the stars of the Plough (part of Ursa Major) and above the bright orange star, Arcturus.
Comet 2025 A6 (Lemmon)

Comet Lemmon (2025 A6) was discovered on 3-January 2025 (by the Mount Lemmon Survey) and is visible from Northumberland all night. Binoculars or telescopes are needed to see it. The star chart (link in bio) shows the western sky shortly after sunset.
This is one of the comets our resident Astronomer Dr Adrian Jannetta mentioned in our blog post a couple of weeks ago. It's on track to be naked eye visible in a week or two. Adrian took this picture earlier tonight.
Thank you #runningfoxcafe for the delicious honeymoon picnic for our beautiful honeymoon stargazing couple this weekend

A very busy #bankholiday at The Glendale Show with our people carrier. It was great to see the wheelchair ramp have a revamp by Donkin Engineering before the show to make sure it was ready to help visitors get to and from the carpark to the main show ring at #glendaleshow #wheelchairfriendly
Wishing everyone going to the Glendale Show a great time this Monday. Our people carrier is a great way to travel from the car parks to the main show #theglendaleshow #ingramvalleysafaris
