BOBITMS is more like ILOALR in terms of prose and being more character-driven. I'm a quarter of the way in, and I think my favorite thing has been how she is able to make each section feel unique to each of her main characters through how she writes them. Not only in their dialogue. It's SO good.

Vicious is good.

I think it helps showcase how well she can write in different types of fiction. I've always described it as if a comic book were captured in novel format.

It moves fast. It hits hard. There's not quite so much prose, but the characterization is no less solid.

It is SUCH a stunning book.

V.E. Schwab writes some of my favorite published prose with that particular work, and I cannot believe that at one point the author thought that it was going to be the work that would end their writing career. I desperately wish we had more of it.

Your studios consistently bring me back into GPOSING.

I sometimes, particularly with Dawntrail, take long breaks in-between shots. Even months. But I'll see an update to your sets, and that little well of creativity pops its head right back up which has also really helped with my love for FFXIV.

Please!

The way that the shadows from the stained glass cut across her face so that it catches her golden eye, making it look even more ethereal against her darker eye. That's so good.

And with the emphasized focus as well with the detailed yellow flowers for additional depth to everything too.

I had been writing on platforms like jcink, proboards, and tumblr prior to joining FFXIV so I knew what writing styles I enjoyed and what I looked for in storytelling.

In moving over a lot of it was about observing the culture for FFXIV RP.

I recommend making a carrd and joining discords.

I adore the — I'm not quite sure exactly how to word it, but the flow of the colors. Like with how the body separates the greenery on the right with the colors to the left. It gives a very almost autumn-ish feel to it in combination with the skirt pattern.

I dunno, I just quite like it.

The scream I have scrumpt on seeing this post.

Thank you for the alert! I had absolutely no idea that it was even available for pre-download.

The aesthetic of this shot is simply so charming. I can't decide which I like better between the texture on the wings, the tail bow, or the soft expression of awe that you captured on her face.

The little detail of how you posed that stray lock of hair additionally adds a subtle motion to the pose.

Here, you dropped this — 👑

Thank you! It means a lot to know someone thinks highly of it.

Major credit to @niavicia.bsky.social for the studio set. She never fails to produce stunning environments that ooze with inspiration.

I recommend checking out her studio tag for gorgeous shots from other talented folks as well.

I strangely had a similar issue earlier today. What fixed it for me was fiddling with settings. I believe the one that "fixed" it for me was changing the font setting.

I think it's more that saving settings "refreshed" me more than anything else, but maybe give that a shot?

I honestly enjoyed opening my feed this morning to the artwork that you posted! Every character has such a genuinely unique design not only in aesthetic choices, but even in the standing poses that you chose to do for them too.

It told a lot of great visual story.

I -adore- the composition of this shot. There's just something about how it's divided and shared between them that fosters such a sense of intimacy.

But then the splash of color from the butterfly to add to all of that?

Stunning!

I continue to be absolutely smitten by your work! I love the softness of the colors in her palette, but how each half of her body is so distinct in design. It's not just her clothing on her woman's half, but the bangles and the bandages as well as the spots on the deer's half.

She's GAWGEOUS.

I am so in love with the moodiness of this look, though.

Take your time. Take your break. Change always takes an adjustment period for everyone. Hopefully you come back into a place where you're content with your OCs again.

LavaBod is legitimately what convinced me to move forward from Bibo+. The first time I laid eyes on it, I was sold. I use customize+ as well to do a personal scale for Veata, and I've never once regretted it.
inkcatcher.bsky.social
That's why I picked FFXII up.

I've been writing Veata as a Viera since the release of Shadowbringers and while I understand why there's a lot of untouched and unexplored lore about a good number of the races/clans, I was desperate for a rich, solid source to build on.

Plus I like having sources.
inkcatcher.bsky.social
I am unhinged.

I have a document that has every piece of lore we've received about Viera in XIV through MSQ and side quests, sections for lore we receive through interviews and the forums, and -

An entire in progress playthrough of XII recording all lore as well, including their dialogue.
