Kelpcorn’s wet form is triggered when it is ether hit by a water type move or is put in rain. The pollen covering its body washes away to reveal its true form. In this form its water type moves are powered up rather than its fairy type moves.

Kelpcorn’s dry form is basically its default form, its fur is covered in a sweet yet sticky pollen like substance that gives some extra power to its fairy type moves.
