one time in college i was passing a crosswalk on my bike, saw a car approaching, assumed they were slowing down. when i realized the car was in fact not slowing down, i slammed on my bike's brakes, flew over the handlebars, and landed in the intersection a foot away from the path of the car monkaW

only thing about the r70x is that since the r70xa released, i think they're a bit tricky to find. they are also a big pricier. if i were buying for myself i would look at the used market since i would be replacing the ear pads anyway

my favorite audio-technica headphones i own are the ath-r70x (not r70xa) with the apos refine pads. the pad swap does a good job at bringing back some of the upper treble that lacks presence on the r70x, and it has the same wing system as the ad700x, so it should feel familiar

cubing competition today went phenomenally well! got a 12.76 PR 3x3 solve and a 4:59.98 PR 6x6 solve. i'm performing great. hoping it carries into tomorrow when i do 4x4 and 5x5.

drove over 500 miles today for a cubing competition. usually when i drive im exhausted after 150 miles, but this surprisingly wasn't too bad

i think it's because trips <200 miles, i have the mindset of "lets get this over with" but today i was like "i'll be here for a while, better get comfortable"
