It took a while to get the words right, but it's something I've been feeling a lot recently. I mean, I'm 60 now so I think I'm finally allowed to say that I'm growing old... ish :) So much information inside my brain, and most of it is doomed never to be communicated. Makes me sad.

Growing old means knowing a million wonderful things, and having time to teach maybe a thousand of them to people who are interested only in a handful.

Finally managed to get close enough to one of these beauties!

A peacock butterfly sunning itself on a piece of blue-painted rusting metal. The paint is flaking away and there are rust spots that seem to mimic the spots on the butterfly's wings in an ironic fashion. At least, that's what I think.
