i don't fully regret it fully ofc! i'm really glad i did get to meet the friends i wouldn't have encountered otherwise just the actual education aspect was not worth it for me 😭

if i were to start over from the end of highschool i definitely would've gone to a community college first, if only because despite being a cheaper school i'm still in a lot of debt because of it and ultimately decided i'm not cut out for a job in the industry anyways :/

I went/am going to a pretty cheap school (cause it was the only one i could afford) so I don't know is this true for others but i personally didn't get a lot out of it in terms of material skills for me the majority of the professors i had were really hands off and didn't provide much guidance

i've been mulling over this for a little bit and even though i'm kind of in limbo wrt my degree (unsure if i'm going to try and finish it) my most valuable takeaway was that the biggest thing you get out of going to art school isn't the actual curriculum but the connections you make there
