Two thoughts here. 1) his supporters will perform mental gymnastics to somehow justify this.
2) IMAGINE if Biden confused when he was President? The media, especially CNN, would never let it go.

1) they are protecting other Republicans and oligarchs that they believe are “on their side.”
2) they know the truth could tip the bounce of power back towards the Democrats and they’re willing to do anything to prevent that

I just wanna say that if Joe Biden had confused when HE was President, the media, especially CNN, would have made that a huge issue. Between not being upfront about his health, and him apparently not sure when he was President, I want to know why the media is not focusing on this.

Putting aside the obvious ridiculousness of this statement, he was President at the time. I bring this up because if Joe Biden appeared to confuse when HE was President, the media, especially CNN, would have made that the main issue here.

Absolutely, in fact, I think one way Democrats should argue for a basic national healthcare system is that it is immoral that all Americans don’t have guaranteed healthcare. Make it a moral issue.

Just my opinion. Part of the reason why the Republican Party can have a figure like RFK Jr., or be against the COVID & other vaccines, is because of the anti-science/anti-intellectual movement in the party. It’s why they hate academia & don’t understand the concept of expertise, what a PhD is etc.

Part of the reason why this is shocking to people is that the MSM has been reluctant to talk about the anti-science, anti-intellectualism movement that’s part of the base of the Republican Party. It’s why they hate academia and why the base doesn’t understand concepts like expertise, PhDs, etc.

I think one of the messages that we have to keep pushing is that elections have a real world consequences. You’re not just voting for a President, you’re voting for an administration. Elections aren’t sporting events, they affect people’s lives.
