"Adults have the right to make informed decisions about their own bodies. Trans people deserve the same autonomy."

We had a couple of meetings over the weekend. If anyone in the trans community on the island wants to join us, do contact us.
It has been a fantastic day at #IoWPride today. A few of us started the march together, but many more joined us as we meandered down the hill.
Just one day to go!
Whilst the weather threatens to be damp, our spirits certainly won't be.

Saturday 19th July is Isle of Wight Pride.
Will you join us and march through Ryde?
Today, July 14th, is International Non-Binary People’s Day.
Often, non-binary people are misunderstood. They exist outside the gender binary of male or female.
It is always a good idea to ask which pronouns they use, as each person may have a different answer.

Camden Council could face legal action from a resident who feels "marginalised" over zebra crossings painted in the colours of the transgender flag... nearly four years ago.
Who knew pastel stripes were so aggressive? 😆

7/ Let's amplify non-binary voices, support non-binary rights, and strive for a world where everyone is free to express themselves fully and authentically.
Let's celebrate and embrace the vibrant spectrum of gender identities together this week, and always.
6/ You deserve to be recognised and celebrated for who you are. Your existence challenges societal norms and paves the way for a more accepting world.
Let's all work together to create a future where everyone, regardless of their gender identity, can live authentically and without fear of judgment.
5/ Let's ensure we continue to ask for and respect people's pronouns, using them correctly and respectfully. Simple acts of respect can go a long way in making non-binary individuals feel valued and validated.
If you're non-binary, know that your identity is beautiful, valid, and meaningful.
4/ By doing so, we can foster a more inclusive and understanding society.
Remember, it's essential to use gender-neutral language and pronouns to create a more inclusive environment.
3/ We accept them for who they are and appreciate their critical perspective on life.
Let's seize the opportunity to learn, listen, and amplify the voices of non-binary individuals. Let's educate ourselves about the unique experiences and challenges faced by non-binary people.
2/ Rather than be afraid of our differences, let’s embrace and rejoice in them. Our world would be very different today if we were all the same.
Non-binary individuals exist outside of the traditional gender binary, and their identities are valid and worthy of recognition.
Happy Non-Binary Awareness Week! 💛 🤍 💜 🖤
1/ It's time to celebrate and honour the beautiful diversity of gender identities. This week is dedicated to raising awareness and promoting inclusivity for non-binary individuals everywhere.

"We'll organise Straight Pride as soon as you tell us the names of the countries where being straight is dangerous.
"(We'll wait.)"
3/ ...We will not only survive, but our strength will continue to grow through peaceful means.
2/
It is also a celebration. We celebrate our differences. We celebrate our love. We celebrate our lives.
Today, the LGBT+ community may be under a well-funded attack from some groups, but it has constantly been under attack from a variety of people over the many centuries...
