What those example headlines in the screenshot underline is the insidious way advertisers exploit user desire for actual, unbiased, factual research to help them navigate the endless see of choices in the marketplace. "I found the best XYZ thing/deal/whatever." But it's not research, just more ads.

"Sponsored content" on digital news/media sites has metastasized and reshaped how people interact with info on said sites; advertisers have every incentive + no barriers to portraying their ads as "native content." Any boundaries betw "real editorial" + "ads" now blurred or totally collapsed.

OMG this has nothing to do with "harnessing your creativity" and everything to do with avoiding paying for the rights to existing literature/IPs. It's unequivocally gross and the outputs will be lower quality that actual books. Please stop this. www.theguardian.com/technology/n...

YIKES the disrespect to the local animals and people. The longer I live the more I see a lack of critical thinking and ethics in everyday life. I'd guess there was just no one in the room thoughtful or brave enough to say, Hey this is maybe not a good idea?

History didn't "forget" about them. Men made a concentrated (perhaps unconscious) effort to erase them 🙄

"Yet museums established in Europe and the U.S. in the late 19th and early 20th centuries overwhelmingly collected works by male artists rather than female artists—a trend that persists today."
This 17th-Century Female Artist Was Once a Bigger Star Than Rembrandt. Why Did History Forget About Johanna Koerten and Her Peers?
A new exhibition at the National Museum of Women in the Arts spotlights 40 women who found fame in the Low Countries between 1600 and 1750, including Koerten, Judith Leyster and Clara Peeters
