Icyw what that sounds like: youtu.be/VDohD-TOa20?...

Quite why my subconscious mind decided that this(!) was the appropriate soundtrack for gagging and mild mental trauma, I do not know.

Anyway, on a serious note, I hope to get some feedback about my wellbeing before the end of the month.

This morning I waltzed up to another human being & handed them my poop in jars "like normal" and tbh I'm not over it. I must say, she didn't seem impressed!

This was worse than giving blood samples. Haunted by the Hey Duggee Theme playing in my head as I chop up my literal shit with a tiny shovel.
"she ain't interested mate" except with game composers instead.
plz do not harass Ishikawa-san thank u

learning that jun ishikawa has been an ambient musician called mushio funazawa for 35 years is mindblowing honestly. so different from most of his kirby work, yet you can hear similarities

Fortunately I am not that ill (so far!)
the doctors drained me of GALLONS of blood today, the bloody bastards. but don't worry, tomorrow I will have my revenge, by serving them up vials of my poop. it's the least they deserve.
Unusually I am leaving my PC on overnight to upload some stuff and damn I cannot believe I used to routinely leave a PC running overnight in the mid noughties. This one has a case fan that runs at full tilt 100% of the time, and my desk has no sound insulation, this shit is SO noisy. :(
It is hard to see how either party can see off the threat of Reform without finding ways to co-operate with eachother. Greens and Libs disagree on plenty but the areas they agree on are largely cultural and very deeply felt.
It was important for me to set up something like this because when I go ahead with it I'll have to turn off my phone and yoink out the microSD into a card reader temporarily, and ideally do it all quickly in one session, since I can't do this over Android's Media Transfer Protocol.
I (finally!) worked out a directory renaming File Op in foobar2000 to add release years. Wanted for my phone library en-mass since mobile fb2k doesn't expose %year%.

(When I say "I" I actually mean GPT. This shit solved something I wanted help with for *ages* and has saved hella time. sry not sry.)
I've been thinking about my music library with considerations about how optimised it is for foobar2000 on Windows, mobile and Linux respectively, and also my backup strategy. It has my head in a spin. I think this is why people just use Spotify to be honest - then it's someone else's problem.
I just follow the UK Politics feed. Works pretty well.

Playing Earthbound for the first time ever in 2025 is fascinating, actually. You're just a kid and the world's gone mad. All the adults are useless at best or trying to kill you at worst. Everyone talks like a crazy person. Everything's too expensive. Your next door neighbor wants to be a dictator.
I feel the same. I think co-operation will be difficult with Polanski, he is uncompromising and that is proving to be a boon for the Greens, while creating some clear distance between them and Labour / Lib Dems alike.
Today, I want to choose "Spooky" by Lush (1992.) It was their debut, and features them at their most ethereal, effects-heavy and Cocteaus-esque. Their song "Laura" is one of my favourite indie rock songs ever. "Tiny Smiles" is also a delight.
Peak Stereolab for me. Every song is unskippable. I loved the change in their sound this album initiated with a greater emphasis on electronics, eclectic instrumentation and lush harmonies ~ followed by Cobra & Phases, Microbe Hunters and finally Sound-Dust, as well as their EPs from this era.
I absolutely adore this album, great choice. And it's definitely one that lends itself best to being listened to as album. They are such a lovely and unique group.
Woulda thought elon nazi saluting and entering govt was some kinda red line for twitter. It was for me but I suppose 🌈everyone's different.🌈
Picked up Alien Earth again, I am having a lot of fun with this series. Might even be peak Alien for me yet. Two episodes to go.
Huge, life-defining tunes for me too...
Huh. Anticlimactic.
Well, I'm still investigating linnucks anyway. Dualbooting is good practice.
probably is mild if you core it and cook with it but I ain't got time for that
