This week in 1988: 1,000+ ACT UP demonstrators shut down the FDA headquarters, demanding (and eventually winning) action on developing HIV/AIDS treatments. ACT UP's militant and creative actions always included powerful visual artwork, and paved the way for movements in the decades to come.

A photograph from the 1988 ACT UP demonstration outside the FDA. Like with xXdizzytrizzyXx i wanna just express myself regardless of how others perceive me. I was initially afraid to give her braces because i felt people would think negatively about me because of that, but on reflection, I don’t care.

Like some things i just find flat out disgusting, like scat or vomit. These are pretty understandable icks, i feel, but just because I find them gross doesn’t mean I’m hostile towards them! I actually am genuinely curious about these interests, and want to understand them!!

In my time on the internet, I’ve seen a lot of things that push past what i find comfortable and made me feel icky. That’s okay! Clearly that content isn’t for me! Some, I’d argue, isn’t moral, but that’s my perspective, and I’m nobody who should judge what’s moral and not.

Funny, you’d think they’d actually research the things they hate, try to understand what draws people into these things. Like I understand my personal feelings towards this stuff, and I could’ve explained it to them, but nobody wanted to hear it. Because I might actually undermine their feelings

I remember when all i was doing was age regression for therapy and my crayon drawings and people would freak out over that. I had to contort myself into a narrow and “pure” definition of myself. Otherwise I was a nasty AB/DL. Nowadays idc, I’m an AB/DL.

I’ve known people who would cry about the dumbest shit. Cry about digitigrade legs and paws in porn being “zoophilic,” same with animal genitalia. Like idgaf, if you draw a dog dick on your anthropomorphic character then that’s honestly based.
