FWIW, social democracies like Norway, Sweden etc have big businesses. They have billionaires.

They also have universal healthcare, quality free education & child care, and programs to curb poverty and food insecurity.

How?

Their billionaires pay taxes and don’t control the government.

Walmart, McDonalds and Amazon are the largest employers of people who require SNAP assistance.

The CEOs earned between 18-40 million last year, 1000x their median employee income.

They took billions in profits, while their workers relied on SNAP to survive.

Wanna fix fraud and abuse?

Fix that.

My condo association had a Halloween parade for the kids, and gift bags for all of them, plus bags for pet parents.

Republicans scream about voter ID. Fine. So why aren’t Democrats launching a full-blown...nationwide effort to help every eligible voter GET one? If the GOP wants to make IDs the battleground...then Goddamnit...equip people for the fight. This should be a no-brainer.

I had to take the same test for my Medicare update

I aced it except for forgetting one of the five cues they told me to remember (tie, pen, house, car, nose). I forgot car 😡
