But before he did, he was kidnapped from the Nova music festival by Hamas terrorists. Ziv survived by hiding under dead bodies for hours.

On October 23, 1983, Hezbollah suicide bombers detonated truck bombs at the US and French Marine barracks in Beirut, killing 241 US Marines, sailors, and soldiers, 58 French military personnel, and six civilians.

The US and French forces were in Lebanon as part of a peacekeeping mission.

BREAKING: The body of Israeli hostage Tal Haimi has been returned to Israel for burial after 745 days in captivity.

Tal Haimi was the commander of Kibbutz Nir Yitzhak's emergency team. He was murdered fighting terrorists who invaded on October 7, 2023, and his body was abducted to Gaza.

In 2014, Hamas violated a US-brokered ceasefire by ambushing IDF troops, killing Lt. Hadar Goldin and kidnapping his body.

Yesterday, history repeated itself when Hamas ambushed and murdered two IDF soldiers in Gaza.

Hamas must release the remaining 16 hostages and stop violating the ceasefire.

IDF: Earlier today (Sunday), several armed terrorists were identified approaching IDF forces operating in the Beit Lahia area behind the yellow line, posing an immediate threat to the troops.

In accordance with the ceasefire agreement, the terrorists were struck after crossing the yellow line.

Mahmoud Amin Ya-qub Al-Muhtadi is accused of being a member of the DFLP terrorist group's military wing and invading Israel from Gaza on Oct 7, 2023.

He reportedly entered the US last year on an immigrant visa.

On this day in 1986, Israel lost Air Force navigator Ron Arad.

He and pilot Yishai Aviram were forced to eject from a damaged plane over southern Lebanon. Yishai was rescued, but Ron was taken captive.

Despite concluding he is no longer alive, Israel has not given up on bringing Ron home.

The fourth body does NOT belong to one of the hostages.

The IDF will conduct security examinations and then hold a small ceremony.

The remains will then undergo a forensic identification process.
