you know as someone with facial scarring and disfigurement sometimes the whole "ill kiss your scars to love the broken parts of you" give the *sees stretch marks* "stop...for me..."
it comes from a good place but sometimes we just dont want that to be a factor of the romance.

i also know everyone deals with scars in their own way, but god it would be nice to see a character who isnt shaped by the scars they carry. it isnt even their main story.

i spent a entire childhood being ridiculed and made fun of, countless surgeries and treatments because MY MOM WAS ASHAMED OF IT. not me. it just taught me that i was ugly by how hard you try to fix it. i love when people love ME and my face was never a factor of that.
