I was conservative when I thought human suffering was a fixable bug in the system.

I became a liberal when I learned it was a feature needing mitigation.

I am a socialist because I discovered that suffering is the fuel the system runs on.

Abandon greed. Embrace compassion, freedom and equality.

Crisis over. All day…do we take her to the emergency vet, do we not…we counted the tassles in her vomit and we were good. Monitored all day. Had a brief sucky moment in Lady Espanya’s arms, ate and drank something.

I think we’re good here. Phew.
