I love when people prove me wrong. I don’t always like being cynical: frankly it’s a depressing way to live, even though it’s warranted. But the one upside is that, no matter what happens, you’re not disappointed. I’m pleasantly surprised tonight. Turns out Americans don’t like tyrants, after all.

I’m not surprised VA went blue - actually it was a shock that they elected Youngkin and then Earle-Sears in the first place.

And you know what, now that I think of it, I’m not surprised Georgia went blue either. I am surprised by how much though: 62 percent was the final number.
