I guess if my comp takes over a minute to calculate the size of the image folder then it's prolly to big to stick on my thumb drive
Honestly can't tell if the idea of pretty ideas is a good one or not
Still true
Normalise the use of โ€œCapitalistโ€ as a slur, an insult, something to fear, like a public menace that stinks and gouges your flesh then reproduces inside you, annihilates all civilisation and completely destabilises Earthโ€™s entire ecosystem causing mass extinction

I didnโ€™t make it much past 6th form but resumed it after a gap at university stage 1

Just the biggest bubble bath of ideas and how to technique them, and a bit about how to business them too

Dunno about now but patronage was a significant part of the syllabus- who pays for the art?
Most poignant moment: the kid who won the art history prize. I literally cried at the thought they could be in the last cohort in that subject, ever. I'm crying again now just writing this. It was literally the only subject to keep me coming back to high school. Art and history, WTF else is there?
Sub plot: I reckon girl prizewinners outnumbered boy prizewinners by โ€“ at a conservative guess โ€“ about 80%
The tragedy is that I'm not stupid, nor was I unwelcome. But all my schools always made me feel like I was, all the time
I hate whingeing about school because I adore teachers and I know the crap they have to deal with, but I also hated school as a kid and going back there for stuff like this always reminds me of everything that made me feel unwelcome and stupid as a ween
Also made a lot of noise when my kid led the assembly in the national anthem and later when they sang a jazz number with their BF on guitar and their buddy on drums
I was overjoyed when the Pasifika fanau ignored the rules, yelped and hollered their girl, and ran down to the stage to adorn her in lei

I joined in the hooting and hi fived the young dude who'd delivered the lei as he ran back to his seat.
"Pls hold your applause until the end of each section" always immediately puts me on edge. The whole thing was conducted with the stiff formality that sickened me as a kid, and still gives me the creeps now
The school prize giving was emotionally and politically complex for me.

Nah just regular. *Are* there fancy ones? Gift from a friend. Must have cost all of $2. Never thought about it before, use it heaps and my flavours have never been the same since

A close relative of mine - a lawyer - once faced Peters as an opponent in court. I asked, howโ€™d it go? โ€œHe did not represent his client very effectivelyโ€ intoned my relative.

From the first few paragraphs of that article, clearly, nothings changed.
Hang on what? Why? Why was the application for recount dismissed? And by whom?

Oh look, they have a top tax rate over 40%, and changing that is super unpopular
Hereโ€™s the best of my Samba Strike! minis

I love the conductor. I love everything
This is noisiest, bubbliest, chattiest train ever, full of nice, bright, smiling and highly communicative service workers.

Unlike our greedy, petulant political leaders
I mean Iโ€™ve seen fuller trains but not at 2pm on a sunny Thursday afternoon. The strike is moving!
