i just ran a real, paid for anti virus on my computer and i'm genuinely surprised to find that i came up with 0 viruses on my computer considering how often i find myself on sketchy websites to find game roms or watch anime

You DON'T need the funny meme, you DON'T need the big titty art, you WILL find them elsewhere. What you need is to socialize, express yourself and your interests, ie be social. If someone ever tells me twitter is better than bluesky i will simply assume your brain is completely poisoned

You will enjoy bluesky a lot more if you stop using it to stream unnecessary noise into your brain and if you use it as a, dare i say, social media. Everyone who likes bluesky like it because people are nice, friendly, and don't have the entire world's noise on an IV drip.

Nothing grinds my rusty brittle copper gears more than someone knowing what the problem is, saying "i dont want to" to the solution and then continuing to complain about it. If you do not like what bluesky gives you and you're not doing anything to alter you're experience thats simply on you

I don't wanna sound like a bluesky suck up because there are actual issues but every time somebody complains about the bluesky experience, the root problem is that they're willingly allowing a drip feed of unwanted content unto themselves

remove the discover tab from your bluesky

"but my memes" your friends will repost them
"but my art" there are art and fandom feeds, plus you build a network of artists to fill your following feed over time
"but the news" see both prior points
"but i like to doomscroll" you do this to yourself
