The pretty Isuzu 117 Coupé, styled Giorgetto Giugiaro, was first revealed as long ago as 1966. For the first five years of production it was largely handbuilt.

When James Bond producer Cubby Broccoli saw the iconic #Toyota2000GT, he just had to have one for ‘You Only Live Twice’. For Sean Connery to fit, Toyota had to remove the GT’s roof. Two convertibles were built for the film.
