OK, some possibly good news (in a bad situation). I just contacted Yamato and they will still ship to the US. It's a very expensive method for small orders (1-2 games) but it's a flat fee up to 2kg. So orders of 7+ games often come out cheaper than airmail. But please read the next post (1/2)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR US CUSTOMERS

As of this week, Japan post, is suspending all shipments to the US “Due to Changes in U.S. Customs and Regulations” the were the result of an executive order. Therefore I have removed all Japan Post shipping options to the United States.

After Tuesday I am not sure what will happen. I can't afford to keep the sale going indefinitely (my margins are low) But I have hope that things will get better. I have been receiving so much support from people here and I am thankful for the orders I get. Because I know it's hard to make them now.

Thank you for asking. It's been rough. In the weeks after tariffs started my sales dropped to basically zero. Canadians were keeping me going and now they have a postal strike. But right now I am getting some sales because I am eating the tariffs and offering 15% off. But that ends Tuesday...

It’s kinda a side quest. Music doesn’t sell well on the store compared to the games. But I am obsessed with Japanese music and I love adding to my little curated section when I have time. I give each CD a mini-review too.

I picked this up on a whim from @japanretrodirect.bsky.social a while back. It's an old game freak joint that makes a great case for the mouse peripheral. It's also just really cute. Glad more people might stumble into Mario & Wario now lol.

To Canadian customers:

Looks like a postal strike. So if you make an airmail order your package will probably be delayed until normal operations resume. Yamato shipping is still available but it can only be shipped to a business address (home business is OK, but I cannot leave that field blank)

Not sure how many people are interested in this but I stream sometimes while I am testing/cleaning games for the shop. I am testing Famicom stuff today (and maybe a bit of Saturn) so if you have interest I'm going live in about 90 min. I hear it's nice as background sound while doing dishes/laundry.

Vinnk got a Switch 2!! But today he wants to play FAMICOM instead.
