I think so too. It just never fails to entertain me. It's one of those movies that has everything.

No judgement here. I imagine it's still an interesting read, despite the writer's actions and behaviour.

The original, though I'll gladly see the first three sequels as well for various reasons. Even Inferno and Hellseeker had some good stuff.

You're not wrong. 🫂 I do hope you'll be able to see the beauty and joy in life as well some day.

Yes, they can be. Sweethearts though they are.

I saw it dozens of times in the early 2000s, and many dozens of times more since my toddler became seriously addicted to the franchise a year ago or so. It's my favourite animated movie.

our daughter puking all over my bed this afternoon... 🤢 She was mostly okay today otherwise. Hopefully a good night's rest is what's in store for us now. Good night!

Well, the first three Shrek movies (they hadn't seen them!), cruising around with the cargo bike and diving into thrift stores mostly kept the three kids entertained today, and the Indonesian dinner together with their parents was amazing. But we're totally pooped. Not too mention (...)

New parenting challenge: three kids of friends are staying overnight, who did not go to bed smoothly, to say the least. I was prepared for a long night, but as it turns out it's our own toddler keeping me up right now. She woke me up screaming at 22:45. Threw up all over herself and (1/2)

I was interested in all three, but I just didn’t have any money at the time. It's a crime The Last Story and Pandora's Tower didn't get nearly as much attention as Xenoblade did the following years.

I've always wanted to play it, but I had a Wii at the time. It's still high on my wishlist.

One of the most interesting looking games of the era to me, but I never got it. 😔
jcdenden.bsky.social
I saw it on VHS, but I believe you.

Good to know, thanks. I think I'll combine it with a second playthrough of Journey. Slightly less interesting, but still great.

Day 11:
Wes Craven’s New Nightmare.

Wes Craven returned to his franchise one more time to successfully reinvigorate the horror side of Freddy Krueger, whilst simultaneously warming up for Scream.

#DendensMovieDen. No. 26. Wes Craven’s New Nightmare. Going back to old favourites tends to be disappointing, but this one A Nightmare On Elm Street-movie I had on VHS growing up remains a very effective metastory, that sadly seemed to have been largely forgotten ever since Scream was released.(1/4)

I loved this journey so much. I'm almost at the point where most memories have faded where I can play it for the second time and it will feel fresh again. Can't wait!

Such a pity. The legacy is so rich and they squander it.

I did quite like the spinoffs like Fiona and Cake. That's something they can keep up.

I get that. I would have loved it if Adventure Time ran forever, but it's daunting as well.

I think that when I started to watch everything, I got up to the then current season 22. Now, like all those other long-running shows, it's not a good idea continue. Maybe I'll return to Futurama one day. I like it more than The Simpsons.

there’s something extremely satisfying about getting a functioning infrastructure right from scratch. Not the easiest genre to play on a 5th gen console, but like C&C or Civ, I’m happy to be able to crash on the couch and fiddle around with the d-pad to play this game. (2/2) #GameSky #Playstation
