I just noticed something incredibly weird -

In MLB, NPB, and CPBL the championships were all decided by the visiting team hitting a home run in the 11th inning of the final game.

Except, I suppose, in 2021 and 2023, when Orix lost the Japan Series (he still got the Fighting Spirit Award in 2021), but the point stands, success has followed him around as of late.
