Meanwhile, both Mikuture and FumiFumi can load existing images as backgrounds.

Mikuture doesn't have certain poses e.g. heart shapes. Although it's possible to approximate half a heart via Poses #2, #3 and #4 plus Left/Right hand #4 (see below), a full body wouldn't work.

Pairing TapStepSnap with Mikuture is going to be an issue.

TSS doesn't allow for existing images to be used in lieu of camera or solid color (red, green, blue), so a workflow from Mikuture to TSS requires an image editor after TSS.

In some workflows, especially if I'm in a hurry…

1. open the Mikuture app
2. load the model
3. set pose/expressions
4. save picture
5. force-close app (as in, not returning to the pose/expressions settings screen)

On the Android TapStepSnap app, that has the double benefit of skipping ads (!)

Playing with the TapStepSnap app and I can already reproduce a bug/feature

1st pic is the character model "Megpoid (Gumi) LP2024", chosen before the splash text disappears.

2nd pic is the same model, but chosen AFTER a model has already chosen and displayed.

The dress decided it had enough…
Megpoid (Gumi) LP2024, when it's loaded properly Megpoid (Gumi) LP2024… and it's not. No amount of pose, rotation and movement changes can return this back to normal (1st pic); the user has to select Video and back to Still to fix it.

Probably dependent on the plane/surface the camera is focused onto.
