One big issue for veterans is not knowing what benefits exist or how to access them. I spend a lot of time researching and am often surprised by what’s out there. But there’s a big gap between benefits being available and vets actually being able to use them.

Mo Siedor said there are many housing benefits for homeless vets and that incarcerated vets can start applying before release. How does that work? I run a nonprofit and want to help vets access these benefits, but figuring out where to start is always a challenge.

During Korn’s commissioner report, he reported that he attended the Charlie Kirk memorial and that it was Kirk’s birthday. So I made sure during public comment to thank all the people that attended the No Kings rally on Saturday.

Just trying to bring some balance to Bonner County. 🤣

This is the last page of today’s Bonner County Commissioners agenda a contract agreement for services. I can’t help but wonder if some of these laws are constitutional violations. Typical Idaho stuff:
Support abortion – crime
Company owned by China – crime
Don’t support Israel – crime

In today’s meeting, the Bonner County asked for money to get access to private databases to track people that use pawn shop and scrapping services. They are also asking for money for accessing a national database called ILETS to get information on people.

They’re not just tearing it down, they are destroying things that could be reused like the windows and other materials. They just don’t care. They want to destroy like typical billionaires who don’t care about the cost in economic, environmental, and historical impact.

No, the White House is not a national monument, but it is a National Historic Landmark and a designated unit of the National Park System. Damaging it is a crime, and it can be prosecuted under federal law as a felony.

As we were taught in basic training years ago, those who kill innocent civilians are war criminals, not war heroes. We had clear instruction on what constitutes a war crime. Do they not teach that anymore?

I can’t imagine following Trump’s orders and living with that choice.
