Went into Best Wishes to All knowing nothing about it, and came out very satisfied. Great piece of J-horror, fits nicely in the genre, and a really great first showing for its director. boxd.it/blgB3P

I didn’t hate Him, and there’s a lot to like on a visual level, but it never seems to know what it wants to be (between what’s real and not), which made the climax unsatisfying. boxd.it/blglox

Although I didn’t like Saulnier’s Murder Party, Green Room was great, and felt more similar in vibe to Rebel Ridge (if more horror-like). I felt the climax was a bit anticlimactic, but I still quite liked it overall. boxd.it/blfXHZ

The one thing I find quite annoying with Shudder (on Apple TV) is that I can't seem to turn off the subtitles, even though the option to do so is there. Is it some sort of bug? I find it quite distracting to watch movies when I know the language and the sub language.
