Our government is committed to keeping our communities safe. This fall, more legislation on the criminal code, bail, and more, are to come.

That is why I joined SoS Ruby Sahota to visit, listen, and ask questions to the TPS Organized Crime unit on how we can best support them.

Yesterday, I attended my second annual Bike Day on the Hill—hosted by Velo Canada Bikes . 🚲

I had a strategy planned for this slow bike race until MP Gord Johns crashed into me. LOL 😂 . No surprise that SoS Adam Van Koeverdan won!

Pleased to stand in support of the program along side Aileen from Hong Kong Watch and answering questions from constituents.

Recently, I was so touched to receive a thank you card from the Hong Kong Pathway Alliance on the lawn of Parliament Hill for the clarification that the Hong Kong pathway program continues on.

Congratulations to the Toronto Elegant Lions Club on your 32nd anniversary of the Crystal Ball. Had lots of fun at the ball and loved hearing the Lions Club song sung by everyone!

It was wonderful that a group of women in 1993 came together with a goal of service and giving back to the community.

Last Saturday, the seniors were beaming 🤩 with pride as they accepted their awards at the Toronto Seniors Fitness Skills Competition, hosted by the Colourful Culture Association!

There was singing and drumming to Rivers of Babylon — the seniors looked so happy and full of joy! 🎶💛

With 1.7 million Spanish-speaking Canadians, the event was a reminder of our country’s growing cultural diversity and deepening trade ties between Canada and Latin America.

There was also special highlight for FIFA ⚽️

Today is Mid-Autumn Festival!

Check out my video and here is one more interesting fact: lanterns are carried and displayed to symbolize beacons that light people’s path to prosperity and good fortune.

To all who celebrate— I wish you a joyful and peaceful festival.

Such a  friendly reception despite it being a surprise visit from the CICS Tai Chi class. Good to have a chat and also provide an update on the Canadian Dental Care Plan

First Mid-Autumn Festival 🥮 of the season! Hosted by the HKCC Toronto . Thanks Aileen! Such a creative craft! 🌙🌛

I spoke to the community and #ScarboroughAgincourt constituents about the false Hong Kong Pathway rumours. The federal government is not cancelling the program.

Keeping religious communities safe is important to our government, that is why we are making it illegal to physically obstruct, or intimidate to prevent access to, a space used primarily by an identifiable group for religious, educational, social, cultural, or sporting activities.
