Jeri and I went for a hike and found some of Earth’s childhood artwork. Those wavy lines are our planet’s own graffiti, carved when it was deep underground, squeezed and heated until the minerals bent into bands. Pretty wild to see nature tagging the rocks millions of years before we ever showed up.
