Option 5: Other? Comment an idea in the replies and I'll look at the suggestions as potential options! I'll see if I can put up a poll on instagram too so I'm not sure what will win (budget might also come into it but I'm hoping to get some materials for xmas if I put them on my wishlist)

Option 4: A pyjama/nightdress embroidered with the chibi characters from Bonds Forged and/or the keepsake icons (image from early access which I played far too much of)

Option 3: A pyjama/nightdress version of the outfit from the first game.
This would be trying to incorporate the design elements from the first game into either a single nightgown or two piece pyjama set like the ones in the images here

Option 2: A dress version of the first game outfit. Likely a ballgown again, or maybe a swing dress style like the one pictured. I'm tempted by the ballgown but it's also a very expensive option with all the fabric!

Option 1: An accurate version of his outfit from the first game. This might be the most complicated and I may need to be cautious with the neck and shoulder piece to ensure I'm able to move freely whilst wearing it.

His robe is also in red with pleating and a wide belt around the waist, with golden bracer and bracelet on his forearms and a golden collar and shoulder piece. He is awake but appears tired, waving with one hand, holding a gold/orange quill in the other hand, and an open scroll is floating in front of him as if he's going to write on it.

My next #cosplay plan (to start in JANUARY or so help me you need to stage an intervention) will be #Hypnos from #Hades2 - but I don't know what to make to go under the blanket he "wears" (I'm not wearing my birthday suit) so... Vote time? I'll describe the options in replies, most likes will win!

Which... I get it. My chair is different to many. But I just enjoy being seen as human and talking about shared hobbies.

Said it before and I'll say it again - I love cosplay. I love spending the day in a character's shoes and seeing the passion for the franchise.

It is also just endless joy to be able to chat to people about the character and costume instead of strangers asking about my wheelchair. It feels *normal*

8 hours of painting later... It's still drying, and the white on the tongue will hopefully dry clear or saliva-like as it's just thick mod podge.

Just got to leave it all to dry now and glue in some extra padding in the morning when I check the fit on my head one last time.

*Almost* there now! The bottom edge of the dress (gold pleating) needs to be sewn on and the head needs to be painted, and a couple of other minor tasks but the #BG3DarkUrge Bhaalgown is so close to complete now! It has been a real labour of love (and pain) but I'm proud of it!

If I have time to print these for #MCMLondon there will be stickers - but what colour should they be? I could do 2 colours for "I resisted" and 2 colours for "I embraced" but they probably all want to be paler colours. Any opinions? They should be on holo paper 💖

Many hours of babysitting the embroidery machine along with some errors, fails, file issues, and one huge tangle that had me terrified...the crossbelt details are embroidered onto the pieces, almost ready to assemble!

I don't want to do this ever again it was agonising.

Daggers Stillmaker and Bloodthirst embroidered onto black satin fabric. Both blades were drawn in 2D and converted to an embroidery file (which is also now the bane of my existence, learning that was not easy) then the embroidery machine had to do them in 2 parts each so that meant re-aligning the fabric and pattern in the hoop to make sure the pieces matched up without any gaps.

So number 2 for me!
I like picking the more niche characters to represent, which also sometimes means making new and different versions of things - currently making a ballgown version of The Dark Urge from BG3 for MCM London

More progress for #BG3DarkUrge Bhaalgown - it's looking more like a dress than a pile of cloth now but still so much to go - currently hand stitching the lining to the shoulders.

Finally. Got the chest piece embroidery pattern to work, and it's done after half a day of watching it and changing threads and snipping excess and aligning *4 times*

The shoulders and hips are also nearly done, so the dress might be ready to assemble tomorrow

The next time I confidently say "I'm going to make [character] as a ballgown" I need one of you to sedate me - I'm fighting this with so little time left to pull it together and the instructions on this patter for the pleating on the skirt is going to drive me well past the edge of madness 😅🙃🙀

It's coming together, but needs 5-7 days to fully set before I work on the back then sanding and painting it up.
