It is difficult to determine what is and isn’t real right now. AI even created new “singer/songwriters” that have been on the news lately! I help students to check out the domains/websites and also to research where influencers come from and what they say their beliefs are.

I talked about banned books today with classes in the library. Students rolled their eyes and gave me “looks.” The DICTIONARY? CATS? (What’s wrong with a book about cats?) Kids know that banning books is ridiculous. Kids WANT to read. #BannedBooksWeek #IReadBannedBooks #ReadingTeacherWrites
