A Ukrainian family who fled Kyiv hoping to find safety in a nearby village was killed when a Russian drone slammed into their home.

Mum, aged 37, her six-month-old baby Adelina, and her niece Nastya, aged 12, were sleeping when the drone struck their room in Kyiv region.

They died instantly.
