I was thinking how fanciful costumes provide strategic protection. They cause the abuser to have to process another layer of meaning - you are not so identifiable as a person they recognize. It causes a cognitive disruption as they process their perception and figure out what to do.

Our votes gave us a leader we can be proud of. No leader is perfect. If we hadn't voted we could have had the same kinds of policies coming from the Conservative party that are destroying the US. We don't want to, we cannot turn back the clocks to high colonialism, patriarchy, and capitalism.

The Republicans are trying to impose a society that existed before the civil rights era. That is how arrested their own development is. Some of them want to go back to slave economy. I draw strength knowing what Black Americans have accomplished despite egregious systemic violence. Deep respect.

When I see pictures of Republicans praying I know that there is something bad coming. They pray for the conviction to carry out morally and ethically depraved acts. Their god is driving them all crazy. Their god is out to destroy the country.

We are living in the outcome to the question, "How low will they go?" There is no bottom. Their depravity will destroy what is left of systems that were already in a state of deterioration. When you renovate an old house, you have to remove the rot. Start building when you have viable structure.

I was thinking what it has done to our collective conscience to have legacy media pushing "If it bleeds it leads" content into our brains every morning. I'm pretty sure it is not good for our mental health or our sense of community to be doused in humans horribleness first thing. Let's change that.

As archaic systems and organizational structures collapse we are rapidly building anew. The legacy media no longer exists. We are the media and information we seek. It is up to all of us to support those who can get a foot in the door for deeper or current knowledge sharing. Probably a good thing.
