Monty on Holloway (1G, 0A, -4): "I think he's just thinking too much. When he's just playing hockey, he's naturally on top of pucks, it doesn't matter what zone. It could be 1 against 3 and he's coming out with it or he's snaking by people because of his speed and skill."

Monty: "I thought he was good. I thought he was aggressive. That's what you want. You want a guy who hasn't played yet to come in, and if he makes mistakes, make them out of being aggressive. The one mistake was because he was being aggressive, trying to kill a play."

The Blues got into STL from Vancouver around 2 am and held a very short practice at 12:30 pm today.

It was a very spirited workout, which I'll provide more details on @TheAthletic.
