Just realized that my dock settings are also now fixed on COSMIC... I've been following the commits daily, and I have no clue how these bug fixes are sneaking in. Most of the commits are translation updates 😆

Not sure when it happened, but some update to #PopOS #COSMIC recently fixed the screenshot save to clipboard. Also saw they pushed a fix for the random dock position issue I had 😅 It's feeling more and more stable every week.

I like #vuejs but the amount of nuances in it is a bit overwhelming. So many things that just don't work due to how everything works. It's been a while since I worked with react, but does it feel similar?

I've had issues with my dock on #COSMIC and none of the settings working to change it. Just came across github.com/cosmic-utils... and after installing it, I'm not able to configure the dock. The OS definitely feels more like home now.

Anyone know with #PopOS #COSMIC if it's possible to do Alt+` for switching windows of the same app? I liked that feature in Gnome using Alt+Tab to cycle through different apps, and Alt+` for cycling windows of the same app

Finally paid off my student loans after nearly 20 years. I paid double my minimum the entire time without skipping (even during the pandemic when interest rate was 0%), and only paid them off 7 years early.

Sadly my beautiful pup Ruby passed away earlier this week. She lived a happy life and will be greatly missed. I'll be donating some of her things to the local animal foundation to help the non-profit.

I really love how the new #COSMIC is setup for PopOS. Pushing everything in to ~/.config/cosmic makes sense. It's awesome seeing all the progress being made on it. 👏👏👏 Well done @system76.bsky.social team

3) Super minor issue: the dock shows on both monitors. Would be nice if only on 1 so my second monitor (smaller) would have more room.

2) Some of the settings, especially the dock settings don't seem to do anything. I can go wild with them changing them and nothing appears to happen. Like setting custom keyboard shortcuts, etc... They are aware of these and working on them.

1) Wake from sleep doesn't work. I've disable suspend, but even having just the monitor turn off fails to turn back on when pressing keys. Hoping github.com/pop-os/pop/i... fixes it... (note, had no issues on Bazzite)

Been using #PopOS 24.04 with #COSMIC for a few days now. So far it's feeling pretty good, but it does still feel like beta. I think once the little polish bits are done it'll be really solid. Here's a thread of the issues I've ran in to (and really it's nitpicking). 🧵
