1/ Matthew Althorpe pled guilty to terrorism charges related to his involvement in both Atomwaffen Division and the Terrorgram collective.

The Crown is recommending his sentence be 20 years.

Sentencing will be in November.

I've asked Canada Revenue Agency about this issue before, they won't comment on the activities of individual charities due to the "confidentiality provisions of the Income Tax Act"

They note the public can report charities suspected of non-compliant activities here:

I know lots of folks disappointed with this, but it feels fairly proportional to me. Us downtown residents were under a sort of house arrest while they were here. Plus now they have criminal records.
