It also feeds damaging myths that place blame on parents, instead of recognising neurodivergence as a valuable and natural part of human diversity.

Spreading false links between routine medications and autism ignores the real challenges neurodivergent and people with symptomatic hypermobility face, from navigating healthcare to getting a diagnosis and accessing appropriate support.

that many neurodivergent people also have symptomatic hypermobility (EDS HSD and associated conditions) and evidence shows these can cause chronic pain. This means safe and effective pain relief is not a luxury, it is a vital part of daily life management.

We supported as foremost userled charity for EDs HSD ND charity @sedsconnective.org where we could CCI AAI, I raised publicity & funds too. Viewed as M.E. then & internal decapitation. We’d changed to having specialists & wider connections to others to improve the landscape and policy for more now
